Padel Plant RVA is located at 1201 Haxall Pt along Richmond’s Downtown Canal Walk. The former hydroelectric plant was left vacant for over 50 years, Padel Plant is bringing the energy back to the Canal Walk. We are humbled to have the opportunity to revitalize a building that is so iconic and important to the Richmond community. 

Nordheimer Companies acquired the building in January of 2024 with Drew Wiltshire and Thalhimer Realty Partners. Renovations are complete and The Plant has opened and been received by an incredible community of padel enthusiasts, pizza lovers, canalwalk goers, and every one in between. 

Padel Plant opened January 2025 and Smokestack Pizza opened in May. As founders, we recognize that people are looking for connection now more than ever and at the same time are leading more active and sustainable lifestyles. Padel Plant is positioned at the intersection of the three. The Padel Plant will build an atmosphere off which community will form and thrive.
